Dr Joanna Gilar is a writer, storyteller and scholar of fairy tale and ecological narrative. 

She is the founder of StoryCommons CIC, a creative collective dedicated to building community resilience via story.

Joanna offers fairy tale and storytelling mentoring for all ages. She creates community rituals and develops storytelling performances across the UK. ​
